Kiwanis Music Festival

Kiwanis Clubs sponsor competitions in musical performance for students in secondary schools.

Middlesex Club members manage one competition venue during the Music Festival.

Commonly there are five jobs for volunteers at a venue: hall manager (most senior), secretary to the adjudicator, cashier, door marshal and room steward (ushering duties).

Approximately 1/4 of the hours volunteered by Club members per year are at the Festival.

As assistant to the Ward Clerk, the volunteer provides information to visitors and coordinates patient visits following instructions from the nurse assigned to each patient.
