Kiwanis International (www.KIWANIS.ORG), with head office in Indianapolis, Indiana, is the organization that unites Kiwanis activities worldwide; in total, there are approximately 200 clubs and 10,000 members. Middlesex Club and other clubs in Eastern Canada and the Caribbean make up Division Four of Kiwanis International.
Three outstanding achievements spearheaded by the early Kiwanis Clubs are: Kiwanis Park in east London, the London Kiwanis Music Festival and the Kiwanis Seniors’ Centre on Riverside Drive (pictured on our home page).
In addition to Middlesex Kiwanis Club there is one other Kiwanis club serving London:
The Kiwanis Club of Forest City-London (www.forestcitykiwanis.ca). This Club is the union of The Kiwanis Club of London which formed in 1920 and The Kiwanis Club of Forest City which formed a few years later. In 1974, Forest City Club sponsored our Club with the official name “Kiwanis Club of Middlesex (London)”.
